Welcome to Path2Purpose, a groundbreaking initiative at Coconino Community College designed to open doors to higher education for high school students who need additional supports throughout their high school journey. Thanks to an unprecedented donation of $1 million per year for four years from a generous private donor, we are committed to transforming lives and building a brighter future.
Our Mission
Path2Purpose aims to engage and support high school students, particularly those who have faced challenges in pursuing higher education. Our goal is to provide the resources and guidance necessary for these students to succeed in college, achieve their degrees, and secure meaningful employment.

Services
Program Highlights
Comprehensive Support: Students will join the program early on in high school and receive dedicated support from a Success Coach based at a Flagstaff Unified School District high school.
College Credit: Participants will be guided toward a path of attaining college credit while still in high school. This includes Dual Enrollment, Concurrent Enrollment, and IB/AP courses.
Holistic Development: The program includes guidance on navigating higher education, exploring career opportunities, and developing strong character traits essential for personal and professional growth.
Why Path2Purpose?
National data shows when there is targeted support for students, especially those considered to be part of marginalized populations, there is a greater chance of success in secondary and post-secondary school. Path2Purpose aims to provide innovative and effective strategies to engage students in these populations, including students considered first generation, having financial need, person of color, male-identifying, and other marginalized identities.
