
The Emergency Medical Services Paramedic Studies program is an 11-month program. Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Fourth Street Campus from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with additional clinical and vehicular hours required. Paramedic Program Costs
Tuition and fees are as follows:
- Total Program Costs for In County Residents - $9,810
- Az Resident/ Out of County - $10,800
- Out of State and WUE - $24,300
- A $30 application/entrance exam fee
Fees include all books, Northern Arizona Healthcare clinical fees, Platinum course management program, CCC lab fees, and class shirts.

Health and Student Records Requirement
Documentation of the following health requirements are required after acceptance to the Paramedic program. Immunization requirements are guided by the clinical facilities and are subject to change at any point. All health requirements must be kept up to date by the student and a copy provided to the Paramedic Studies department.
- High School Transcripts /GED or equivalent
- College Transcripts
- Current BLS HCP Card
- NREMT Certification
- AZ EMT Certification
- Driver’s License
- Negative TB skin or blood test (must be current for the entire academic year) or a chest X-ray, or a Chest X-ray with symptom questionnaire.
- Evidence of two (2) measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccines OR blood titer (must be read by physician), which shows immunity. *NOTE: rubella vaccine cannot be given to pregnant women.
- Evidence of two (2) varicella vaccines OR blood titer, which shows immunity (must be read by physician.)
- Hepatitis B vaccine series (3 shots) record or signature declining this vaccine (the program specialist can guide you to the declination form if you are accepted.)
- Tdap immunization within ten (10) years.
- Flu vaccine (annually by September 1st.)
- Evidence of full COVID Vaccination Status*
- 5 or 9 panel Urine Drug Screen prior to clinical rotations
Applications and Entrance Exam
Applications for the class of 2025 will be accepted March 1 – July 1, 2025
Entrance Exam to be scheduled after acceptance of application for June 2025 consists of three parts:
1. Cognitive exam (comprehensive EMT knowledge)
2. EMT skills assessment
3. Oral interview panel
